Welcome to our Math Program!

“It’s a Fact”

All math groups begin their session with a quick mad-minute. This helps us to keep up on our math concepts, whether they are addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. We practice, practice so we don’t forget. After each mad-minute a sticker is added to a chart. As the stickers add up they earn prizes for their hard work!

4th graders will be taking multiplication fact quizzes. They will earn a prize after they have successfully completed  multiplication fact quizzes. This is a very nice incentive for them.   Continue to practice addition and subtraction facts also.

3rd graders are mastering their addition facts. They will also earn a prize for their hard work, after they complete all of the fact levels.   We are also, practicing subtraction with borrowing.

Parents:

“Things add up.”

Continue to play games with your children that involve counting. Also, while in the car, or just around the house, quiz your child on their facts. Don’t forget our 4th grade friends need to review their addition and subtraction facts also.
