I am very happy to be a part of the Forest Hills School District for a second year. This is my fourteenth year of teaching. The first twelve years I taught in Wilmette, Illinois. My career includes teaching a variety of grades at both the elementary and middle school levels. For seven of my years in Wilmette I was a Differentiation Support Teacher, a role in which I worked with teachers to meet the needs of our gifted/talented and high-achieving learners.
The best thing about my job is that everyday students and colleagues inspire me to see things in new and exciting ways. We live in an ever-changing world where we need to be creative and flexible thinkers. It is a gift to be part of the journey where each child is achieving his/her individual potential.
